Overview
STONETECH Salt Water Resistant Sealer is a water-based penetrating treatment for porous exterior stone and masonry exposed to salt water or de-icing salts. It helps resist salt-related deterioration and water-based staining without serving as a glossy surface coating.

Applications
Use on suitable exterior natural stone, concrete, pavers, terracotta and grout, including salt-water pool surrounds and areas exposed to de-icing salts. Test poured concrete because it may darken. Select a separate compatible stain-protection treatment if oil resistance is also required.
Selection and Use
- Test an inconspicuous area with a 24-hour cure and allow new grout at least 72 hours. Clean the surface and follow the label’s preparation requirements.
- Apply an even coat with a bristle brush or roller. Allow 15–20 minutes of penetration, avoiding puddles and wiping off excess before it dries.
- For de-icing-salt protection, apply a second coat 15–20 minutes after the initial application, following the same apply-and-wipe process. Allow a full 72-hour cure before exposure to water. Protect the area from rain during curing. Clean tools with water. Expected wear is up to 5 years around salt-water pools, but approximately 1 year for de-icing-salt protection; exposure and maintenance affect service life.
- For added oil-stain resistance, the product guidance allows BulletProof Sealer after Salt Water Resistant Sealer has fully cured; follow both products’ instructions.
