Schluter LIPROTEC-ECD is a hardwired, in-line LED driver for KERDI-BOARD-SNLT niche lighting. It works with a separately purchased compatible dimmer, which lets the bathroom's controls use a coordinated switch style. The driver can supply multiple niches within its 24-watt total output limit.

- Add the LED loads of all connected niches and keep the combined requirement within the 24 W driver limit.
- Select the compatible dimmer separately and coordinate its appearance with the other room switches.
- Plan accessible hardwired driver placement and the LIPROTEC cable routes before wall closure.
- An accessible driver location, such as a suitable closet or vanity location under the installation detail, must be coordinated with the cable routing.
