Applications
Use to refresh grout lines in kitchens, bathrooms and other tiled areas. The manufacturer identifies sanded, non-sanded and epoxy grout, plus mortar joints, for color modification.
Selection and Use
- Start with clean, dry joints; let new grout cure according to its manufacturer. Existing sealers or coatings must be removed from the joint before coloring.
- Test the color and adhesion in an inconspicuous area. On porous tile, protect the tile face with a suitable penetrating sealer without sealing the grout to be colored.
- Shake with the cap on. Trace the joint and keep excess colorant off the surrounding tile. A dark-to-light change can require additional coats; follow the label for drying and cleanup.
