Overview
Miracle Sealants Grout Shield is a sealer additive that replaces the mixing water in compatible cement-based grout. It builds stain protection into the grout mix and helps maintain color consistency, eliminating the separate grout-sealing step when used as directed.

Applications
Use when installing compatible cement-based grout that does not already claim stain resistance. Do not use with ready-to-use, liquid or epoxy grout, and do not add latex or other additives. It is not recommended where chemical resistance is required.
Selection and Use
- Shake well, pour the entire container into a clean bucket, then slowly add the full 25 lb. bag of sanded grout and mix with a drill and grout-mixing bit. Let stand 10 minutes, remix and install following the grout manufacturer’s directions.
- Keep the same liquid-to-grout ratio for every batch. Only after the recommended Grout Shield amount is used may clean, cool water be added in increments of up to 2 oz. to adjust consistency as described in the product directions.
- If tile or stone needs sealing, preseal its face with compatible 511 Impregnator or Superseal; use Seal & Enhance when color enhancement is wanted. Keep sealer off the edges so it does not interfere with grout bonding.
- Test sanded or colored grout on sensitive finishes. Glazed ceramic, marble, stone and agglomerate tile can be scratched or stained; follow the tile maker’s guidance.
