Overview
Microseal Honing Powder is a non-acidic abrasive powder for restoring an even honed finish to marble, limestone, travertine and terrazzo. Mixed with water into a slurry, it is used to refine scratches, etch damage and wear before the desired final finish is established.

Applications
Use for restoration of compatible calcium-based stone surfaces, from localized repairs to worn floors. Select a starting grit based on the defect and desired finish, then refine the previous abrasive pattern as needed.
Selection and Use
- The selector offers five grades, not a seven-step kit; each container is the chosen grit.
- Mix with water for the slurry process and test on a small area before treating the full surface.
- Do not assume powder honing alone can correct substantial lippage or deep damage. The required preparation depends on the actual surface condition.
- Stop at the grade that produces the specified honed finish, or continue with the appropriate separate polishing process if gloss is required.
