Overview
MULTIMAX LITE is a lightweight, fiber-reinforced, polymer-fortified mortar for large-and-heavy-tile floors and non-sag wall work. Its 25 lb bag provides the coverage of approximately 50 lb of conventional mortar. HYDROMATIC CURE CHEMISTRY promotes hydration, while the creamy consistency and long open time support placement.

Applications
Use for ceramic, porcelain, glass, stone, quarry tile, pavers and brick in suitable interior, exterior and submerged assemblies. Listed mineral bases include concrete, masonry, block, mortar beds, plaster/render, terrazzo, existing tile/stone and appropriate backer board or HYDRO BAN Board.
Plan Your Installation
- STRATA_MAT, plastic laminate, gypsum plaster/wallboard, cutback adhesive, resilient tile and exterior-glue plywood have interior-only restrictions in the listed assembly.
- For glass tile, do not use the general 3/4 in. buildup allowance: follow the 3/16 in. maximum and the glass manufacturerās instructions.
- Confirm backer-board exterior suitability; use the recommended specialty adhesive for moisture-sensitive or resin-backed tile/stone.
- Follow the SDS and dust controls. The manufacturerās respirable-silica statement is not a claim that no protection is needed.

Can this replace mastic in appropriate tiled wet-area assemblies?
The product is listed for showers and bathrooms, but mortar does not replace the required waterproofing system.
