Overview
CustomBlend LHT is a polymer-modified mortar formulated for large and heavy tile, with non-sag and non-slump performance for most interior and exterior floors and walls. This 44-pound LHT product is distinct from CustomBlend non-modified thin-set mortar and can support horizontal setting beds up to 3/4 inch.

Applications
Use CustomBlend LHT where a modified large-and-heavy-tile mortar is appropriate, after confirming substrate flatness and deflection. Its thicker-bed capability supports tile setting; it does not replace a floor-leveling or structural repair step.
Selection and Use
- Do not confuse this LHT formula with the similarly named non-modified CustomBlend mortar when choosing additives or following installation instructions.
- Not for pools, water features, or exterior commercial and multifamily facades. Moisture-sensitive and resin-backed stone need the specified epoxy setting material.
- CUSTOM does not recommend a 1/2-inch square notch; choose a ridge-collapse-friendly trowel and check tile contact. Provide at least 80% contact in dry areas and 95% in wet/exterior areas with edge support.
- Preserve the listed wood/gypsum dry-area restrictions and preparation for existing tile, vinyl, laminate or cutback. Do not bond directly to OSB or other prohibited surfaces.
- Allow approximately 24 hours before grout/light traffic and 7ā10 days before heavy traffic, depending on conditions and assembly rating.
