Overview
The Gemini Taurus 3 is a wet ring saw for shape cutting in glass, tile and similar hard materials. Its removable saw unit supports bench work and handheld use, while the selected blade determines whether the cut is omnidirectional or primarily forward and backward.

Applications
Use the Taurus 3 for glass patterns, mosaics, inlays and shaped cuts. Glass, stone, shell, nonferrous metals and hard plastics such as acrylic or Lexan require a blade appropriate to their thickness and cutting behavior.
Selection and Use
- Standard: round, omnidirectional blade for general pattern cutting; normal work includes 1/8-inch art glass and 1/4-inch soft wall tile, not thick ceramic tile or 3/8-inch fused glass.
- Mega: rigid tear-drop blade for thicker fused glass, ceramic tile and stone; avoid thin dichroic glass and do not force the material.
- Slicer: narrow 0.040-inch kerf for wafers and detailed fused-glass work; cut from the front/back and use the recommended flocked belt.
- Always use the stabilizer foot for handheld operation. Follow the linked manual for water setup, guards and eye protection.
- The Separating Blade for internal cuts is sold separately. Blade-specific requirements take precedence over general interchangeability statements.
