Choose a Gemini Standard, Slim or Fine/Dichroic wire blade for the Apollo wire-cartridge setup or Taurus 3. These electroplated blades have a diamond-coated profile for omnidirectional detail work, with grit and cross-section selected to suit the material.

Applications
Use Standard for general stained-glass patterns and light material shaping; choose Slim when a narrower kerf benefits intricate work, or Fine/Dichroic for thin coated glass. The selected blade is not a set of all three.
Selection and Use
- Apollo compatibility requires the correct wire cartridge; a sintered or rigid cartridge is not the same setup.
- Gemini’s blade guide favors Standard/Slim for normal 1/8-inch art glass and 1/4-inch soft wall tile, not thick ceramic tile or 3/8-inch fused glass.
- Fine/Dichroic is for thin coated glass, not ceramic tile, 1/4-inch fused glass or thick material.
- Feed with light, steady pressure and use the blade’s cutting action rather than forcing the work.
