Overview
MultiSet is an economical polymer-modified thin-set mortar for basic interior floor and wall tile installations. The 50-pound package is suited to jobs over prepared concrete, cement backerboard or existing ceramic tile where an ANSI A118.4 mortar is specified.

Applications
Choose MultiSet for interior tile setting over compatible, properly prepared substrates. Existing ceramic tile must be prepared for bonding; an existing finish does not eliminate the need for surface preparation.
Selection and Use
- Do not bond directly to exterior-grade plywood, OSB, hardwood, particleboard, metal, fiberglass or plastic.
- Do not use in swimming pools or water features. Use an appropriate epoxy mortar for moisture-sensitive or resin-backed stone.
- Select a trowel for the required tile coverage and periodically lift a tile to check contact. Thin-set is not a substitute for correcting an uneven substrate.
- Normally allow 24 hours before grouting or light traffic; cold or damp conditions extend cure time. Follow the data sheet for heavier service.
