Description
Overview
CEG-Lite Part B supplies the epoxy resin and lightweight aggregate for CEG-Lite commercial epoxy grout. Combine it with the separately sold Part A pigmented hardener to produce the selected color and properly cured grout; this Part B package is not a complete grout kit by itself.
Features
- Part of the two-component, 100%-solids CEG-Lite system.
- Correctly mixed grout is stain- and chemical-resistant, water-cleanable and suitable for vertical joints without an extra additive.
- The completed system exceeds ANSI A118.3 and may also be used as a setting mortar.

Applications
Use the completed CEG-Lite mixture for suitable commercial or residential floor and wall grouting, countertops, backsplashes and wet-area tile. Plan the total mixed quantity from tile size and joint width/depth, then purchase the matching number of Part A containers.
Selection and Use
- Stir Part B before adding the complete required Part A quantity. Do not mix partial units or omit the color hardener; incorrect proportions prevent proper color and hardening.
- Keep a power mixer at 300 RPM or less. Avoid overmixing and trapped air, which can create pinholes and accelerate setting.
- Check chemical compatibility in the linked information. Harsh industrial cleaners may require CEG-IG instead; no-rinse enzyme-based cleaners are not recommended.
- Test sensitive stone or tile and protect painted/anodized finishes. Do not fill movement joints or changes of plane with epoxy grout.
- Light traffic is typically possible after 7 hours at 70°F and 50% RH; colder conditions or narrow joints extend curing. Follow the longer 14-day recommendation before chemically treated water submersion.
