Description
Overview
CEG-IG Part B is the resin-and-aggregate component of CUSTOM’s industrial-grade epoxy grout system. This 27.7-pound component must be mixed with two compatible Part A color/hardener units to make a complete grout for demanding chemical and cleaning environments.
Features
- Completed 100%-solids system provides chemical, stain and temperature resistance.
- Non-sag formula for horizontal and vertical joints; water-cleanable before cure.
- Exceeds ANSI A118.3 and can also serve as a setting mortar under the approved details.
- Contains recycled aggregates that may contribute to applicable LEED credits.
What's Included
- One 27.7-lb. Part B resin/aggregate component. Two Part A color/hardener units are required separately.

Applications
Use the properly mixed CEG-IG system for suitable commercial kitchens, food-processing areas, laboratories and industrial tile assemblies. Evaluate the actual acids, cleaners, solvents and operating temperatures against the manufacturer’s chemical-resistance chart rather than assuming resistance to every chemical.
Selection and Use
- Order two Part A color/hardener units per Part B container. Stir Part B, add the complete required hardener and do not mix partial units.
- Mix at 300 RPM or less and avoid overmixing. Epoxy temperature affects working time, so plan placement and cleaning before combining the components.
- Protect adjacent painted/anodized finishes and test porous or sensitive tile for appearance changes.
- Light traffic may be possible after approximately 7 hours under the stated conditions, but protect from harsh cleaners for 7 days and aggressive chemicals for 14 days. A quick return to foot traffic is not full chemical-service readiness.
