Overview
Custom 9240 is a fabric-reinforced, liquid-applied waterproofing and anti-fracture system for tile and stone installations. This kit combines the polymer liquid with two reinforcing-fabric widths to form the flexible membrane specified for the installation.

Applications
Use the complete liquid-and-fabric system beneath tile or stone over approved concrete, mortar, masonry or cement backerboard. Plan the reinforcing fabric and all transitions as part of the waterproofing assembly rather than treating the liquid alone as the complete kit system.
Selection and Use
- Use both components according to the application details. The kit provides one narrow and one wide fabric roll; verify the material allowance for the complete project.
- Do not apply over wet surfaces, where hydrostatic pressure is present or where temperatures may fall below 40Ā°F within 72 hours.
- Do not bridge expansion, control, construction or cold joints. This membrane is neither an adhesive nor an exposed wear surface and must be covered with permanent flooring.
- Exterior decks, post-tensioned concrete and floor-heating installations require consultation with CUSTOM Technical Services. Plywood and OSB uses are limited to suitable interior dry areas.
- The membrane normally darkens as it dries; ambient conditions can extend drying. Follow the data sheetās flood-test and cure schedule before putting the assembly into service.
