Description
Overview
The Bison Versadjust V4 is an adjustable deck support for the tallest standard Versadjust range, with VC2 expansion available above 9 in.. Its screw adjustment sets the support height, while integral base leveling compensates for a sloped substrate without requiring the walking surface to follow the roof slope.
Features
- Integral base compensation for slopes from 0–4% (up to 1/2 in. per foot).
- Select a pedestal alone or the listed 1/8 in. or 3/16 in. spacer-tab configuration.
- Made in the USA from high-density copolymer polypropylene with 20% post-industrial recycled material.
- Pedestal material is resistant to water and freeze/thaw exposure.

Versadjust Model Comparison
The models below are separate height ranges, not additional models included with this purchase. Each listed model has an 8 in. (203.2 mm) base and a 1,250 lbf (5.56 kN) center-loaded rating with a factor of safety of 3.
- V1: Height 2-1/4–2-3/4 in. (57–70 mm); weight 1.5 lb. (0.68 kg).
- V2: Height 2-3/4–3-3/4 in. (70–95 mm); weight 1.6 lb. (0.73 kg).
- V3: Height 3-3/4–5-3/4 in. (95–146 mm); weight 1.8 lb. (0.82 kg).

Applications
Use V4 for a properly designed elevated paver or wood-tile deck where the required support height falls within its standard range. Measure the support cavity separately from the thickness of the selected deck surface and any additional accessories.
Selection and Use
- Check the lowest and highest support locations before selecting models. The comparison in Specifications helps identify where an adjacent Versadjust range is needed.
- Spacer-tab width determines the gap between deck units, not the pedestal height. Choose the tab configuration to match the deck layout.
- Keep the pedestal within its marked thread-engagement range. For taller supports, VC2 couplers fit V4 only; bracing is required at 24–36 in.
- The pedestal rating is not the allowable load of an entire roof or deck. Verify substrate bearing capacity, surface-unit support, perimeter containment and concentrated loads with the project design.
