Overview
The Bison VC2 Quick Clip Coupler extends a Versadjust V4 pedestal beyond its standard 9 in. maximum height. Its clip-together connection speeds assembly of taller supports while retaining the V4’s threaded height adjustment.

- Clips into a V4 base or another VC2 in an approved extended-height assembly.

Applications
Use when a V4 support must reach above 9 in., such as across changing roof elevations or deeper deck cavities. Select the number of couplers from Bison’s assembly ranges, not by simply adding nominal dimensions to a fully extended pedestal.
Selection and Use
- A V4 with one VC2 covers 9–13 in.; two cover 13–17 in.; three cover 17–21 in.; four cover 21–25 in. Follow the full system instructions for taller assemblies.
- The Bison Brace System is required for pedestal heights of 24–36 in. Do not treat couplers alone as a complete tall-pedestal installation.
- Align the coupler and base marks and fully engage the quick clip. Observe the thread-engagement limits and the specified perimeter restraint, substrate support and deck loading.
