Usage Instructions:
- Sweep or vacuum the stone surface and protect surrounding areas with tape or plastic.
- Ensure the stone is free of sealers or coatings.
- Liberally apply KnockDown Honing Powder and add water to form a slurry.
- Refinish using a weighted floor machine with a natural hair or synthetic fiber tan floor pad, or a hand polishing machine. Use double-stacked pads for lippage if needed.
- Keep slurry wet while buffing, adding more KnockDown as necessary. Harder stones require a thicker slurry.
- Squeegee a small area to check for the desired honed finish.
- Rinse thoroughly and use a wet vacuum to remove all excess compound.
Limitations:
- Not intended as a pre-polish powder.
- Avoid contact with non-recommended surfaces.
- Always test in an inconspicuous area before full application.
Coverage:
- Approximately 100 to 200 sq. ft. (10 m2 to 18 m2) per pound (.45 kg) depending on the hardness of the stone and method of application. Container size: 2 Lbs.
