Overview
Aqua Mix Aqua Stain changes the color of porous adobe clay tile while enhancing its natural texture. The concentrated stain can create a translucent to more opaque effect on Saltillo and other highly porous adobe tile.

Applications
Use on Saltillo and other high-porosity adobe clay tile, indoors or outdoors. Existing sealers must be removed so the stain can penetrate; Aqua Mix Sealer & Coating Remover is the recommended preparation product.
Selection and Use
- Shake and test a small area, allowing 24 hours to evaluate the result. Allow new installations to cure 24 hours before staining.
- Pre-dampen tile and work by hand in manageable sections, using a dense sponge or lint-free cotton towel. Rework excess or streaks immediately with a clean damp sponge.
- For pre-grout use, apply at least 2 hours before grouting.
- The manufacturer specifies Seal & Finish Low Sheen to protect the color. Follow its surface and exposure limits as well as the stain instructions.
