Overview
Alpha Eclipse II is a general-purpose turbo diamond blade for cutting stone and common building materials. It is particularly suited to medium-to-soft granite classifications and can also cut hard granite, making it a versatile choice for mixed masonry and tile work.

Applications
Use Eclipse II for stone-tile installation, masonry and general construction cuts. Select the diameter and arbor for the actual cutter, grinder or saw: the listed 4-, 4-1/2- and 5-inch blades have different mounting dimensions, while the 7-inch entry is listed for a worm-drive saw.
Selection and Use
- Alpha recommends step cutting to extend blade life. Back off frequently in thick material to limit overheating.
- Use the correct tool flanges and adapters, and keep the tool’s safety guard fitted; a blade that does not fit with the guard is not the correct setup.
- Wet cutting on an appropriate wet-use tool can extend blade life and reduce dust.
