Overview
Alpha Katana is a wet/dry diamond tile blade designed for hard porcelain and mixed-material tile jobs. Its thin cutting profile and hybrid design make it useful when the work includes porcelain, granite, marble, engineered stone and glazed ceramic tile.

Applications
Choose Katana for portable tile cutting with a compatible high-speed angle grinder or Alpha stone cutter. It also fits into Alpha’s Ecocutter dry-cutting workflow when the selected blade and machine specifications match.
Selection and Use
- Match the blade diameter and arbor to your tool; the 4-, 4-1/2- and 5-inch versions have different arbor combinations and maximum speeds.
- For wet cutting, use a tool intended for that wet setup. The wet/dry blade designation does not itself make any grinder suitable for water.
