Description
Overview
Riverside ADVANCEMENT HPT is a high-sulfate-resistant ternary cement made from clinker, limestone and pozzolan. The 94-pound bag is intended for general-purpose concrete construction, including suitable at- or below-grade work in sulfate-rich environments.
Features
- Three-part blended-cement formulation.
- High sulfate resistance for specified exposure conditions.
- Manufacturer reports 20–25% lower production CO₂ emissions than ASTM C150 cement while maintaining product performance requirements.
Specifications
- Product: ADVANCEMENT HPT
- Bag: 94 lb
- Blend: Clinker, limestone and pozzolan
- Role: Cement binder for concrete mixtures
Applications
Use in properly designed concrete for foundations, footings, slabs, sidewalks and other general construction where this cement is specified. Sulfate exposure is a reason to consider HPT, but the complete concrete design must meet the project’s requirements.
Selection and Use
- Select the concrete mix and exposure requirements with the project specification; this is cement binder, not a just-add-water aggregate mix.
- The 20–25% comparison refers to manufacturing this cement versus ASTM C150 cement, not an automatic reduction for an entire building or every concrete mixture.
- Confirm aggregate, water and admixture proportions for the project rather than substituting another cement’s recipe without review.
