Overview
Lehigh White Portland Cement Type I is a white cement binder for architectural concrete, mortar and related cement-based mixtures. The 94 lb bag provides the cement component for specified mixes where a light base color, exposed finish or integral color is important.

Applications
Manufacturer-listed Type I uses include cast-in-place and precast panels, floors and slabs; terrazzo, cast stone, masonry units and mortars; stucco, thinset and tile-grout formulations; and ornamental concrete.
Selection and Use
- Additional listed uses include pool and spa finishes, glass-fiber-reinforced concrete, floor and roof tiles, pavers, curbs, median barriers, bridge parapets and other architectural or traffic delineation products.
- Use a mix design appropriate to the finished work, including the required aggregate, water and admixtures. Do not treat the bag as ready-to-use concrete.
- Type I is distinct from Lehigh’s Type II, III and V Portland cements and its masonry cements; choose the cement specified for the project.
