The Blue Ripper Miter Master Rail Saw is the world’s only double miter cutting rail saw, designed to produce flawless 45° miters with unmatched ease and precision. By cutting both angles simultaneously in a single pass, it offers the simplest and fastest solution for achieving a perfect mitered edge. Ideal for stone slabs, prefabs, and large-format porcelain tile slabs.
Heavy-Duty Performance
Powered by two 7" Makita grinders, the Blue Ripper Miter Master delivers industrial-grade cutting performance:
- 3 feet per minute on granite
- 1.5 feet per minute on quartzite
Deep Cutting Capacity
With 6" blades, the Miter Master cuts cleanly through 3 cm stone. For 2 cm material, 5" blades provide faster, more efficient cuts.
Versatility
The Miter Master specializes in 45° miters for large format materials. Once set up, the perfectly aligned dual motors ensure accurate, chip-free cuts in one go.
Note: Rails are sold separately.
Tips & Tricks
- Use 5" blades for 2 cm stone.
- Use 6" blades for 3 cm stone to avoid leaving a lip at the bottom of the cut as blades wear.
- For best results, use metal-bond blades with side protection. For softer stones such as marble, travertine, or limestone, a vacuum brazed or electroplated blade with side protection is recommended.
Blade choice is critical to cut speed, edge finish, and blade life. Omega Diamond offers high-quality blades designed specifically for the Miter Master, though operators may use their preferred blades as long as they include side protection.
Alignment: For best results, align the saw using Omega Diamond’s Precision Alignment Method. Proper alignment ensures accurate cuts and prevents blade wandering that can ruin workpieces.
