Overview
The Makita GV7000C is a 7 in. vertical disc sander with a 7.9-amp motor and 2,500–4,700 rpm variable speed. Its motor-over-pad design supports balance and control, with soft start, constant-speed electronics and a lock-on trigger for extended sanding.

Applications
For disc sanding with an abrasive selected for the material and finishing stage. Adjust the dial to suit the application, using a pad and abrasive compatible with the 7 in. sander and 5/8 in.–11 spindle.
Selection and Use
- The supplied 80-grit abrasive and rubber backing pad provide the listed sanding setup; other grits should be chosen for the finish required.
- The two-position side handle adjusts the holding position, and externally accessible brushes simplify service access.
