Applications
For sanding wood and metal and for paint or rust removal with an appropriate abrasive. Choose the abrasive for the surface and desired finish; this is a fixed-speed disc sander, not a variable-speed polishing tool.
Selection and Use
- The supplied 80-grit disc provides the listed starting abrasive; other grits should be selected for the specific finish.
- Check that the backing pad and abrasive suit the 5 in. tool and its operating speed.
