Overview
The LATICRETE HYDRO BAN Shower Pan Kit brings a pre-sloped EPS shower base, curb and sheet-waterproofing accessories together for a tiled shower. It replaces the need to form a traditional mortar base within the pan footprint. Choose the pan dimensions and drain location to match the layout; the bonding-flange drain and thin-set are sold separately.

- One pipe seal and one mixing-valve seal.
- Bonding-flange drain kit and thin-set are not included.

Applications
Use for residential, commercial or industrial bathrooms requiring a pre-sloped tiled shower, including stalled gang showers and pet showers. Plan the pan, curb, drain, wall backing and waterproofed transitions as one assembly rather than treating the pan alone as a finished shower.
Plan Your Installation
- Measure the shower opening and locate the waste connection before choosing the center- or off-center-drain kit.
- Check wall area and all seams, niches, benches and penetrations against the supplied membrane and accessories; allow for additional material where required.
- Select the compatible bonding-flange drain separately. The linked kit data sheet excludes the HYDRO BAN Tile-In Bonding Flange Drain and specifies brushed, polished or oil-rubbed-bronze versions.
- Follow the data sheet for approved substrate preparation, mortar selection, seams and flood testing. The sheet calls for at least 24 hours after installation before flood testing.

Is the drain included?
No. Bonding-flange drain kits and thin-set are sold separately.
Does every kit have the same amount of wall membrane?
No. The supplied roll area varies with pan size; compare the Specifications with your actual wall and detail areas.
