Overview

The HYDRO BAN 12 in. Bonding Flange is the flange component for a compatible adjustable point-drain assembly. Choose PVC or ABS to suit the plumbing specification. This flange-only listing is intended for building or completing the specified drain arrangement; the 4 x 4 in. grate is separate.

Applications

Use when the project calls for a separate HYDRO BAN bonding flange rather than a complete grate-and-flange kit. Suitable assemblies include properly waterproofed interior showers and other listed wet-area tile installations over the specified supporting construction.

Plan Your Installation

• Choose PVC or ABS according to the waste piping and local code—not by appearance.
• Match the grate, adjustment components and pan/drain generation before ordering. Confirm all required parts for the complete assembly.
• Coordinate the flange position, floor slope and finished tile elevation before fixing the drain.
• Bond the specified waterproofing to the flange and complete the required test before tiling; the flange by itself does not waterproof the entire floor.

No. Manufacturer item numbers 9248-0BFD-P2 and 9248-0BFD-A2 identify flange-only products. Choose the compatible grate separately.
