The HYDRO BAN 4 x 4 in. Tile-In Bonding Flange Drain combines a PVC waterproofing flange with a tileable drain insert. It lets the drain finish coordinate with the surrounding shower tile while keeping the drain assembly accessible. Threaded adjustment helps position the grate for the selected tile and setting-bed thickness.

Use in suitable interior showers and other specified tiled wet-area assemblies with HYDRO BAN waterproofing. The membrane bonds to the flange, integrating the drain with an appropriate mortar-bed installation. Preformed-pan compatibility must be confirmed for the exact pan and drain generation.
Plan Your Installation
- Verify the PVC connection is permitted by local plumbing requirements and select the waste-line connection before setting the drain.
- Plan the tile thickness and finish elevation before adjusting the ring and fitting the tileable insert.
- Do not assume this tile-in drain fits every HYDRO BAN pan: the linked Shower Pan/Kit instructions for some models expressly exclude tile-in drains.
- Complete the membrane-to-flange detail and required flood test before installing the finish. Mortar and grout do not replace waterproofing.
- Keep the installation barrier in place as directed and protect the finished drain from construction traffic.
