Overview
Durock Interior Tape is 2-inch-wide, alkali-resistant glass-fiber mesh for reinforcing backerboard joints and corners in interior tile work. Select a 50-foot or 250-foot roll for the amount of joint treatment required.

Applications
Use with the specified USG Durock cement board, Fiberock underlayment/tile backerboard or Durock glass-mat backerboard detail. For UltraLight Foam backerboard, follow that board’s own approved joint-treatment instructions; reinforcing tape is not by itself a waterproof seam treatment.
Selection and Use
- Prefill the appropriate board joints with the specified setting mortar or adhesive, then center and embed the tape and level the joint.
- Do not overlap pieces where the linked instructions prohibit it.
- This listing is the 2-inch Interior Tape. The linked sheet specifies separate 4-inch Exterior Tape for exterior cement-board substrate joints.
- Use the board-specific directions in Downloads, including different treatment where the surface will be painted rather than tiled.
