Overview

Cyclone Dry/Wet Side Protection Core Bits add diamond protection to both the outside and inside of the shaft. This T-segment design is intended to ease drilling and core release in granite and engineered stone.

Applications

Use these bits for coring granite or engineered stone, including field work where a dry-capable bit is needed. Choose diameter, driver type and stone hardness together when using the speed guidance below.

Selection and Use

• The paired speeds are listed as hard stone / soft stone; they are not wet / dry values.
• Hand-tool speeds and drill-press speeds are different. Do not transfer the hand-tool setting to a drill press.
• Use water whenever the setup permits to help extend segment life.
