Overview

Cyclone Ultra bits use a specialized diamond bond for holes in porcelain and ultra-compact material, with granite and marble also supported. This listing combines larger thin-wall core bits with a distinct 1/2-inch Ultra non-core bit; their usable lengths and dry speed limits are different.

Applications

Select the bit for the required hole diameter in granite, marble, porcelain or ultra-compact surfaces. Pay special attention to the 1/2-inch option: it is a non-core bit, not a smaller version of the 2.25-inch-long thin-wall core bit.

Selection and Use

• The 1/2-inch model must not be run at the larger core bits’ 5,000 RPM rating when used dry; its dry limit is 2,500 RPM.
