Overview

Cyclone Dry/Wet Core Bits are threaded diamond core bits for granite and engineered stone. Vacuum-brazed side protection and a 3-inch usable length support coring with a compatible driver.

Applications

Select the hole diameter for the granite or engineered-stone work, then match the driver speed to that exact size. The permitted maximum falls as diameter increases; a rating for a small bit must not be carried across to a larger one.

Selection and Use

• The 4-1/2-inch size is rated at 2,000 RPM, compared with 6,500 RPM for the listed 1-1/8-, 1-1/4- and 1-3/8-inch sizes.
• Check the driver’s connection and approved coring operation. A tool being described as a hammer drill does not establish that percussion is appropriate for the bit.
• Water use is part of the stated fast-drilling claim; actual drilling time depends on the material and setup.
