Overview
The DEWALT DW074KD rotary laser kit supports interior and exterior leveling and alignment. It self-levels in horizontal mode; vertical leveling is adjusted manually with arrow controls. A protected rotary head and weather-resistant housing are designed for jobsite use.

Choose the Operating Mode
Use horizontal self-leveling for level reference work and the manual controls for vertical setup. The included detector supports beam detection during exterior work.
Standby mode pauses the laser while changing between horizontal and vertical tasks. Follow the supplied instructions for leveling checks and detector positioning rather than treating visible-beam distance as detector range.
