Overview
The DeWalt DW089LG projects three 360-degree green reference planes for room layout: one horizontal plane and two vertical planes. The 12V MAX platform, magnetic bracket and locking pendulum support setup, alignment and transport between jobs.

Applications
Use DW089LG for tile grids, backsplashes, fireplace and bathroom layouts, cabinetry, countertops, crown molding, trim, framing and steel-track alignment. The intersecting vertical planes help with squaring corners and plumb-wall reference.
Selection and Use
- Use the correct detector when extending the working range; a detector is not listed among this package’s contents.
- The green model has a different visible working range from the red DW089LR. Do not substitute the red model’s range when planning a setup.
- Check level/calibration and lock the pendulum for transport. Outdoor railing, retaining-wall or patio layout requires a usable reference under the actual site conditions.
