Overview
Bonstone Historic Restoration Mortar (HRM) is a two-component, lime-based material for aesthetic repairs to older stonework. It produces a limestone-like finish while allowing moisture to pass through the patch.

Applications
For cosmetic restoration of historic stonework, including Dutchman joints, pits, holes and damaged edges on steps and sills. It can also be used as a slurry coat where the repair calls for that consistency.
Selection and Use
- Choose the color and finish around the existing stone rather than treating Neutral and Indiana Gray as identical.
- Shape and texture the patch during application to achieve the desired limestone-like appearance.
- Use HRM for aesthetic patching; structural problems or moving joints require a separate repair assessment.
