Overview
The Bison Floating Foundation Base (FFB) provides a wider bearing surface beneath a pedestal in an on-grade installation. It is the soil-base accessory for compatible Versadjust and Level.It systems, rather than the FIB pad intended for roof insulation.

Applications
Use beneath Bison pedestal decks installed over soil. The product listing identifies V1, V2, V3 and V4 Versadjust pedestals, LC Level.It and the associated low-height supports; choose the complete assembly to suit the deck design.
Selection and Use
- Prepare and compact the supporting grade with positive drainage. The manufacturer calls for a compacted walkway-gravel base at pedestal locations, not placement on arbitrary loose soil.
- Level the local bearing surface and place an FFB beneath each on-grade pedestal.
- Provide structural perimeter containment and verify the allowable load of the prepared substrate. The wider pad is not a substitute for soil preparation or structural design.
