Overview
Backer-On cement-board screws fasten HardieBacker or equivalent fiber-cement backer board to suitable wood or light-gauge steel framing. A serrated head seats flush for tile preparation, while the T25 star-drive recess helps hold the bit during installation.

Applications
Use in suitable cement-board assemblies for showers, backsplashes, countertops and floors. Follow the board manufacturer’s fastening pattern, required edge distances and screw-length requirements for the supporting material.
Selection and Use
- Select screw length and package count together; the 2-1/4 in. option contains 100 screws.
- Install with a compatible drill/driver or impact driver and the correct T25 bit.
- Seat the head flush without overdriving. Corrosion resistance does not eliminate the assembly’s waterproofing requirements.
