Applications
Use to seal most porous natural stone, tile and grout on suitable countertops, backsplashes, floors, walls, showers and interior or exterior stonework. Always test a less-visible area: light-colored and polished stone can show residue if the sealer is not removed properly.
Selection and Use
- Apply to a clean, dry surface free of waxes, sealers and finishes. Allow new adhesives and grout to dry at least 48 hours; apply at 50–90°F ambient temperature.
- Shake and apply a liberal coat. Work it into dense, polished or honed surfaces with a white nylon pad. Let it penetrate up to 5 minutes or until drying starts.
- Wipe with a damp microfiber towel, then buff dry. Apply a second coat after at least 30 minutes using the same procedure.
- Allow light foot traffic only 30 minutes after the final dry buff. Keep dry for 24 hours; maximum stain protection develops after 24 hours.
- Does not prevent wear or acid/caustic etching. Clean with a suitable neutral-pH cleaner; harsh chemicals, high-alkaline cleaners and steam can shorten protection.
- Use impervious gloves and eye protection, ventilate the area and follow the label.
