Overview
Alpha 5-inch Ceramica EX pads are flexible wet-polishing discs for engineered stone, quartz surfaces and natural stone. They produce a smooth high-gloss finish while conforming to curved edges, inside corners and tight radii.

- Also polishes granite, marble—including difficult black and green varieties—terrazzo and porcelain tile or slab.
- Hook-and-loop backing for grit changes.

Applications
Select the 5-inch pad and required grit for the polishing setup. Individual 200, 500, 1000, 2000 and 3000 grits and a 200–3000 kit option are offered on this page.
Selection and Use
- Remove saw or grinding marks before the EX sequence; Alpha recommends a 60-grit Ceramica Vitrified or Metal disc for preparation.
- Work through the grits without skipping stages and remove the preceding scratches before advancing.
- Use a water-fed hand polisher, not a high-speed grinder or floor machine.
- For granite, Alpha recommends a separate final Buff after 3000 grit; do not use that Buff stage on engineered stone.
