Akemi Stone Impregnation is a ready-to-use silicone-based treatment for reducing water and dirt absorption in absorbent mineral surfaces. It penetrates the stone rather than forming a surface film, allowing moisture vapor to escape.

Applications
Use on absorbent natural or artificial stone, including granite, terrazzo and concrete ashlar. Typical projects include facades, tables, windowsills, floors, stairs, gardens, terraces, gravestones and monuments.
Selection and Use
- Apply to clean, completely dry stone; test first for consumption and possible color change.
- Use a suitable brush, mop or pad. Professional spray applications must follow the technical sheet’s equipment and protective measures.
- Remove unabsorbed excess before it dries, approximately 20 minutes after application, and protect from rain for 24 hours.
- Do not use on glazed or non-absorbent surfaces. Outdoor floors and stairs also require protection against moisture entering from the back or sides.
