Overview
Akemi Rust Remover is a liquid acid cleaner particularly suited to acid-resistant stone floor coverings. It treats surface rust and rust stains from inclusions within the stone, with rust inhibitors that help limit renewed formation.

Applications
Choose the liquid for horizontal stone surfaces such as floors, stairs, terraces, tabletops and windowsills; use the paste version for vertical facades or wall coverings. Surface finish alone does not establish acid resistance.
Selection and Use
- Do not use on polished marble, limestone, terrazzo, anodized aluminum or enamel. Test a sample area first.
- Apply to completely dry stone and treat the full stone surface as directed to avoid uneven color or new rusting in untreated areas.
- Allow up to 24 hours according to the technical sheet, keeping the treatment from drying; rinse thoroughly and repeat on dry stone if needed.
- Protect plants. Long contact can darken some stones; follow the sheet for cleanup and subsequent water-repellent protection.
