These 3/16" horseshoe shims provide a U-shaped spacing piece that fits around bolts and anchors. The open shape lets you position the shim at a fixing point when leveling a window, door, cabinet or curtain-wall installation.

Applications

Positioning at a Fixing Point
Place the opening around the bolt or anchor where the shim is needed. The shims can also be nailed or screwed to a surface. Match the 3/16" thickness to the space being adjusted rather than assuming one thickness fits every opening.
