Overview

RUBI SLIM CUTTER pliers 18812 provide controlled separation of thin porcelain sheets after scoring. The adjustable mechanism is designed for the original SLIM CUTTER system and material between 3 and 8 mm thick.

Applications

Use after scoring a large-format porcelain sheet with the compatible manual cutting system. The pliers perform separation; they do not make the score themselves.

Selection and Use

• Confirm that the sheet is within the 3–8 mm range. Different RUBI slab-breaking tools have different limits.
• Set the pliers for the material and apply gradual separation according to the SLIM CUTTER instructions.
• Support the sheet appropriately throughout scoring and breaking.
