Gemini Apollo Wire Blade Cartridge Assembly
The Gemini Apollo Wire-Blade Cartridge Assembly is designed for quick and easy removal and engineered for extreme detail and omnidirectional cutting. Ideal for glass, acrylic, and soft wall tile. The wire cartridge accepts Taurus 3 standard, slim, and dichroic (fine) blades.

Standard Blade: A general, multi-purpose blade for omni-directional cutting in a variety of materials. With a round shape and 360 degree coating, the blade has the strength and versatility to cut quickly while grinding the edge, leaving it chip free and smooth. Stained Glass pattern making is made simple and easy with this blade because the material does not need to be turned while cutting but simply moved in any direction.
Blade Shape: Round .072 Diameter (note 1/16" equals .0 63 and 1mm equals .0394) Grit is aggressive.
Material Thickness Capacity: 3/8", normal use is 1/8" art glass, 1/4" soft wall tile.
What to Avoid: Do not use for ceramic tile, 3/8" fused glass pieces, or thick material in general.
Average Blade Life: 40-60 hours
Slim Blade: A thinner version of the Standard Blade, the Slim Blade is designed for producing the most intricate designs. It also features omni-directional cutting capabilities, but can cut quicker front to back and leaves a smaller kerf (0.062) than the Standard Blade.
Blade Shape: Oval .062 x .072 (front to back). Grit is aggressive
Material Thickness Capacity: 3/8", normal use is 1/8" art glass, 1/4" wall tile.
What to Avoid: Do not use for ceramic tile, 3/8" fused glass pieces, or thick material in general.
Average Blade Life: 40-60 hours
Dichoric Blade: This blade is ideal for cutting thin dichoric glass and iridescent coated glass, such as used in jewelry making. This blade is similar to the Slim Blade but coated in super fine diamond grit that will not chip even the most delicate dichroic glass. With a fast cut, it leaves perfect and smooth edges for a clean and professional look.
Blade Shape: Oval .058 x .072 (front to back). Grit is finest.
Material Thickness Capacity: 1/4", normal use is thinner than normal dichroic or iridized glass.
What to Avoid: Do not use for ceramic tile, 1/4" fused glass pieces, or thick material in general.
Average Blade Life: 40-60 hours
