Overview
DAP ALEX PLUS is an acrylic-latex caulk with silicone additives for paintable interior and exterior gaps and joints. It provides a flexible, waterproof seal after curing and is available here in white or clear, as a single 10.1-ounce cartridge or 12-pack.

Applications
Use around window and door frames, baseboards, molding, trim, corner joints, pipes, vents and siding, especially before painting. Suitable prepared surfaces include wood, vinyl, glass, drywall, plaster, masonry and other compatible building materials.
Selection and Use
- Clean and dry the joint, remove old caulk and contamination, and tool before a skin forms.
- White and clear have different painting schedules. Clear applies white and must dry clear before painting; do not apply the white formula’s 30-minute schedule to it.
- Not for continuous underwater service, expansion joints, tuck-pointing, butt-joint filling or broad surface-defect repairs.
- Less shrinkage is a comparison with ALEX Painter’s Caulk, not a no-shrink claim.
