Overview
ARDEX FL is a rapid-setting, polymer-modified, Portland-cement-based sanded grout for tile joints from 1/16 to 1/2 in. Its smooth finish, flexibility and rapid return-to-traffic schedule suit time-sensitive tile work.

- For interior and exterior floors and walls.
- Stain- and water-repellent, but not stain-proof.
- Freeze/thaw and mold/mildew resistance.

- Bag size: 25 lb
- Joint width: 1/16–1/2 in. (1.5–12.7 mm)
- Mix water: 2-1/4–2-1/2 quarts per 25 lb bag, per linked sheet
- Working/pot life: Approximately 30 minutes at 70°F (21°C)
- Traffic: Approximately 90 minutes under reference conditions

Choose the required color using the product selector; confirm the finished shade with a sample or mock-up.

Applications
For porcelain, glass, quarry, ceramic, mosaic and most moisture-insensitive natural stone. Suitable specified wet-area and pool applications require pH-balanced water and the manufacturer’s cure schedule; traffic readiness is not immersion readiness.
Selection and Use
- Test for scratching or discoloration on the actual tile or stone. Not for moisture-sensitive stone.
- Use consistent mixing proportions across bags to help control color variation.
- Choose the color with the selector and a physical sample. Maintain the grout with regular cleaning.
- For high chemical resistance, select an appropriate alternative system rather than relying on this cement grout.
