Overview
Alpha PVA-5/8 is the 4-inch quick-change backer for Alpha PVA QC polishing wheels. Its 5/8-inch-11 threaded side mounts to a compatible low-speed tool, while the snail-lock side accepts the QC wheel with a twist-on action.

Applications
Use this backer to run the PVA QC dry-polishing sequence on a compatible sander or polisher. It is the mounting component required by the separately sold PVAQCK pad assortment.
Selection and Use
- Match the tool’s 5/8-inch-11 thread and controllable speed to the backer and wheel.
- Do not run PVA QC on a high-speed tool above the 4,000 RPM limit.
- Keep PVA QC wheels dry; the quick-change mount does not make those abrasives suitable for wet polishing.
