Alpha 3" Hot Rod Blade for Granite

Overview

Alpha HR03A+ Hot-Rod is a 3-inch granite channel-cutting blade for preparing recesses for 1/4-inch reinforcing rods at sink and cooktop cutouts. Its 7 mm cutting thickness makes the channel in one pass with the specified portable stone-cutter setup.

Applications

Use HR03A+ for granite rodding channels with a compatible AWS-110 or AWS-125 stone cutter. This is the granite version for 1/4-inch rods, not a general blade for cutting the steel rod itself.

Selection and Use

• Match the 7/8-inch or 20 mm arbor to the cutter. Maximum blade speed is 14,500 RPM.
• The channel depth is 1/4 inch; verify the complete reinforcement detail required by the job.
• Select a material-specific Hot-Rod when working outside granite rather than assuming the granite bond is the marble version.
