Overview

The RUBI SLAB TRANS HEAVY DUTY N 18982 is an adjustable handling frame for large-format ceramic sheets. Two reinforced aluminum profiles, perpendicular crossbars and six vacuum suction cups distribute the attachment points across the slab, with movable handles to suit the size being handled.

Applications

Use for handling large ceramic and porcelain sheets during work with SLIM CUTTER PLUS, SLAB CUTTER and TC-125 cutting systems. The frame is compatible with the SLAB CARRIAGE for supported handling operations.

Selection and Use

• Clean dust and residue from the slab before attaching the cups. Position the cups and handles to suit the slab format.
• The 170 kg capacity is the total limit for the frame. Adding suction cups does not increase it.
• Plan the crew for the slab plus the handling frame’s own weight. Depending on the load, three or four operators may be needed; do not treat the frame rating as a per-person handling limit.
• Replacement vacuum pads are sold separately and maintain—not increase—the frame’s original load rating.
