Applications
Use for appropriate isolation-joint details in driveways, sidewalks, patios and pool-area concrete work. Size and place the joint according to the assembly’s movement requirements.
Selection and Use
- Distinguish the 1/4-inch thickness from the 3-inch strip width when planning the joint.
- Fit the strip to maintain the intended separation; it is not a structural connection or a substitute for engineered movement joints.
- Compressible filler accommodates movement within the designed detail. It does not guarantee crack-free concrete or provide a seismic-protection rating.
