- Designed to break below the tile surface after the mortar sets.
What's Included

Coverage Planning
Quantity needed varies with tile size and clip placement. For reference, 300 clips with 300 wedges cover approximately 60 sq. ft. of 6 x 24 in. tile or 200 sq. ft. of 24 x 24 in. tile. A 1,000-clip/1,000-wedge layout covers approximately 443 sq. ft. of 16 x 16 in. tile or 1,000 sq. ft. of 24 x 24 in. tile. Wedges are not included.
Applications
For porcelain, ceramic, marble and other suitable natural-stone floor or wall tile. LASH controls tile-to-tile alignment; it does not flatten an uneven subfloor or repair defective tile.
Selection and Use
- Prepare the substrate before setting tile. Use at least a 1/4 x 3/8 x 1/4 in. square-notch trowel as specified in the LASH instructions; back-buttering is recommended.
- Insert clips into fresh mortar, position the adjacent tile, then insert the reusable wedge. Optional LASH pliers help set the wedges.
- After the mortar has set, break off the clips as directed and retain the wedges for another installation.
